KGF Chapter 2 Makers Officially Announce Zee As Worldwide Satellite Destination For South Languages
The worldwide premiere of Prashanth Neel’s ‘KGF Chapter 2’ announcement, official partner with ZEE for satellite rights
The popular TV channel ZEE has successfully earned the satellite rights of Prashanth Neel's upcoming blockbuster Kannada movie “KGF Chapter 2”. The popular actor Yash today announced the news through his Instagram handle. He wrote – “Glad to Announce #KGF2SouthOnZee @prashanthneel @vkiragandur @hombalefilms @hombalegroup @duttsanjay @officialraveenatandon @srinidhi_shetty @zeekannada @zeetelugu @zeetamizh @zeekeralam”. The post is flooded with good wishes in the comment section. Naveen has summed up the post with few tags of team members to express his gratitude.
As per the announcement, the Kannada blockbuster film’s versions will stream on ZEE Kannada, ZEE Telugu, ZEE Tamil, and ZEE Keralam respectively. Kannada star Yash portraying the character of Rocky Bhai in the KGF series also took to social media to share the big announcement.
The blockbuster Kannada film “KGF Chapter 2” is presently in the post-production stage. Though the makers were initially expected to hit the screens on October 23, 2020, but they postponed the release due to COVID-19 Pandemic. As per the reports, there is speculation that the movie may get a release on the occasion of Christmas, however, the revised date of release has yet to be revealed by the makers.
The movie features Bollywood’s megastar Sanjay Dutt as the main antagonist. “KGF Chapter 2” is an action-thriller that also features Srinidhi Shetty, Raveena Tandon, Balakrishna, Anant Nag, Malavika Avinash, Saran Shakthi, and Achyuth Kumar in lead roles, whereas, Prakash Raj will be seen in a pivotal role among others.
The multi-starrer movie’s music is composed by Ravi Basrur and the responsibility of camera taken by Bhuvan Gowda. The movie is bankrolled by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner Hombale Films. KGF 2 will be released in 5 Indian languages - Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam.
